A black replacement

My little sister, Sarah, and I tried to see Black Swan for the second time yesterday, and, for the second time, we were turned away due to projector issues.  Woe is us.

Instead of wallowing in our sorrow for the second day in a row, we soared to the other end of the movie genre spectrum and saw True Grit, since Sarah had been wanting to see that, as well.  I'd never seen the original, so I had nothing to compare it to, but I thought it was a decent movie.  It definitely wasn't the Natalie Portman flick I'd been craving, but I guess I'll save that review for another time.  I will see you one day, Black Swan!!

In the mean time, here's a black shirt.  Okay, so it has white polka dots, but close enough.

blouse - via TJ Maxx
cami - Lauren Conrad for Kohl's
jeans - The Limited, via TJ Maxx
boots - Madden Girl, via DSW (now super cheap!)
earrings - Daisy Fuentez for Kohl's
ring - Forever 21
belt - vintage Anne Klein, thrifted
dog - Franklin, half dachsund, half stranger-in-the-night
(the original pup, stolen by my father when I left for college)

I LOVE that top! Especially paired with that belt. Polka dots are my favorite! You are beautiful.

I've yet to see either movie, but I really want to see Black Swan as well! Hopefully you, me and Kileen (who seems to be lacking in Black Swan as well) can see them ASAP!

@veronika, tick tock vintage.

Thanks! Yeah, I heard it was kind of creepy, but I think that's part of its allure for me. I'm a big fan of Natalie Portman, so I'm excited to see her in a different kind of role.
