FBFF...kind of

Let me be honest...

I have not particularly cared for the FBFF topics the past couple weeks.

Allow me to explain:

For me, blogging is something I do because it is fun.  I don't feel like I have to prioritize it into my schedule or make sure it doesn't interfere with my life.  I also don't feel that some grand lessons are to be learned from the mistakes I make blogging.  I just enjoy doing it, so I do.

I'm not one of those people who feels super committed to writing every day or freaks out if I can't come up with more creative material.  I write when I feel like writing, and I write what I feel like writing about.  That's all there is to it.

I don't have a fancy camera.
I don't map out my outfits.
I don't have a blog calendar.
I don't comment on 'x' number of blogs a day.
I don't feel obligated to participate in every single blogging membership thingy every week of the year.
I don't judge my self-worth based on the number of followers I have.

Let's be real - this is my hobby, not a lifestyle.

I like FBFF questions that are fun and relate to my personal sense of style or life or just simple things that I can share with you.  I don't necessarily think you'd like to hear how I prioritize my blogging schedule or the biggest blogging lessons I've learned in the short 3 and a half months this blog has been in existence, but please notify me if I'm wrong.  Moreover, I definitely don't want to spend my time blogging about those things.

However, I do recognize that some people may have loved responding to the past couple week's questions, and more power to them.  They just weren't my favorite...to each her own.

So here is this instead.  Just me being completely honest with you.  And, at the end of the day, whether I've learned it from blogging or one of life's other precious moments, that's really the best I can tell you:

Be yourself.
Be honest.
Be open.
Be true.
And make no apologies for the aforementioned.

How's that for lessons learned?

It's true. I feel the same way about blogging. I don't want to be just a "fashion blogger" or "couple blogger" or "baking blogger". I like it all people. I write about whatever I feel like :)

I loved your post. I so feel the same way...it seems like blogging can take over a person if they let it...I'm too busy livin' life to get bogged down by what all goes into my blog...I just want it to be my little space of happy, ya know? =)
