Review: John Frieda Touch-up Flyaway Tamer

Touch-Up FlyAway Tamer
Yesterday, I talked about the shampoo and conditioner from John Frieda's Full Repair line.  Today, I'll be reviewing another product from the line: Touch-up Flyaway Tamer.  John Frieda's website describes the product this way: "Crystal-clear formula with Inca Inchi Oil weightlessly smoothes flyaways and frayed ends to keep full-bodied styles perfectly polished.  Ideal for on-the-go touch-ups and boosting shine."  I must say, the product actually works exactly as described.

Have you ever straightened your hair, only to look in the mirror and see static causing strands of hair to rise off your head?  Not a cute look.  This product really tames those flyaways though, whether their due to split-ends, static, humidity, or whatever else you deal with.  It's super lightweight, so it doesn't weigh down your hair.  With its mascara like wand, it's also really easy to use.  I often pin my bangs out of my face, but sometimes my baby hairs will peak out.  However, with John Frieda's Touch-up Flyaway Tamer, I just glide the applicator over my baby hairs, and they stay put - no flyaways in sight.

I love products that are simple to use but super effective, and this product definitely fits the bill.

Don't forget - you'll have a chance to win this product and 5 others in a John Frieda giveaway that will go up this Friday!

great review! I'm curious though--does it have a kinda greasy feel, like John Frieda's bottled serums? Or is it more like a hairspray feel?

@Sami Salo :) I wouldn't compare it to either, actually. It doesn't leave your hair hard like hairspray, and nor does it leave your hair greasy like some serums. It just kind of lightly smooths things down. I love it!
