Let's be real...this Texas heat (108 degrees, people!) has me wishing it was socially acceptable to go out in the nude. Alas, I might find myself naked and in hand cuffs very quickly - and I'm pretty sure that's not was intended by those furry cuffs you see in novelty stores and bachelorette gift baskets.
So, I did the next best thing and wore a light, airy dress...which, honestly, was still way too much fabric in this heat wave. It's impossible to be lady-like with sweat dripping down your legs.

I even got an email today from my power company that warned people to be cautious about their energy usage. With these astronomical temperatures, the power grids could be compromised...from people constantly running their ACs to battle the heat.
