Take me out to the ball game...

I'll be honest - I have very little athletic ability, and I have even less knowledge of baseball.  However, I have always enjoyed the movie The Sandlot, and so does my niece, Keira.  (Benny is one of her imaginary friends, in fact.)

I grew up in San Antonio, at that's where the majority of my immediate family lives now.  Keira loves going  to see the San Antonio Missions, the city's minor league team, play baseball.  When we found out that they were playing the Frisco Roughriders while she and my mom were visiting our neck of the woods, we knew we had to go!  (Frisco is a suburb of Dallas - we have like a gazillion suburbs in this area.)

The Roughriders won, but Keira was probably most excited about running the bases after the game, so she was too distracted to be disappointed.  We had a great time, and I'm sure we'll be making return trips to see a local team play ball.

And, of course, here are the obligatory outfit shots.  I kept it casual and comfortable for a baseball game in 100 degree heat.

tank - Lauren Conrad for Kohl's; shorts - Gap, sandals - Diba, via Nordstrom Rack; bow hair clip, flower earrings - Forever 21

100 degree heat makes it very difficult to get dressed! You did well, looks like a fun day out!
