V-Day and a double-duty outfit

Hello, lovelies!  I hope you had a fantabulous V-Day.  I took the day off from blogging to enjoy all my free time with mi amor.

Caleb and I had our date-date (as in out in public) Sunday because I wanted the actual V-Day to be private, since it was our first one as a married couple.  We had lunch at one of our favorite upscale restaurants, Rafain.  It's a Brazilian steakhouse, so the servers come to your table with all different kinds of meat on these huge skewers, and you can pick and choose what you would and wouldn't like.  Caleb loves it because I don't eat red meat or pork, therefore I never cook it.  Anytime we eat at Rafain, he makes up for lost time and eats a TON!  There aren't as many meat choices for me to choose from, but they do serve chicken and have a very extensive salad bar, and they bring yummy sides to your table, as well.  And they have great dessert choices...yum!

We spent Monday night in, and I prepared a yummy fondue treat.  We dressed in comfy clothes had a picnic in the living room.  We enjoyed a Gouda/cheddar cheese fondue with lots of things to dip and sipped on champagne.  For dessert, it was a combination white/dark chocolate fondue with more yummy dippings.  We really had a fantastic night.

The outfit I'm wearing in these pictures actually pulled double duty.  I wore it to our date at Rafain, and kept it on to meet some girlfriends that night.  (You might remember Faye and Sarah from this post.)  We saw the musical Evita at the theater where Faye works, and it was phenomenal!  The stage was oozing with talent!  Afterward, we enjoyed some cocktails and chatting and Chili's.  It was nice to catch up.

Unfortunately, lighting was not on my side with these photos (you can't even see the tiny polka dots on my skirt in some pictures), but I really liked the outfit.  I rarely bust out the pumps, but I decided to wear them since I was sitting for the majority of the activities.  My feet were still sore at the end of the day though.  How do you fashionistas do it?!
