Coming home

in resort lobby, before leaving for airport

Leaving vacation is always bittersweet.  Caleb and I had a phenomenal time in the Riviera Maya, and there's not a thing we would change.

Between zip-lining, kayaking, exploring Mayan ruins, swimming with dolphins, getting massages, and just relaxing by the pool or beach, our vacation schedule was definitely full.  We've never been the types to just lounge around and do nothing all day on vacation, and this trip was  no exception.  We had SO much fun, and we feel so blessed to have enjoyed such a spectacular vacation.  Thanks for letting me share our experiences with you!

Here's a funny little picture for you...I'm extremely fair-skinned and put on sunscreen diligently, but I still managed to burn a little on my back and shoulders and get a pretty dark tan!

Now we've been back at home for a little over a week, and life has returned to normal.  Although, I must say...normal is pretty spectacular, too.  :)  I wake up to the person I love every morning, so whether in Texas or in a jungle paradise, I have a lot to be thankful for.

Thanks for checking out my blog! It looks like you had a great vacation! I'm rather fair skinned as well; I'm envious of your tan! :)

@Ellie It was a pleasure! And my vacation was wonderful, thanks! As for the tan...I don't think it'll last long, lol!
