Hi, beautiful people! I hope your week has been fabulous - it flew by for me! If you've missed the past few days, I've been reminiscing about the vacation my husband and I took to Riviera Maya. The sites were gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the memories will always be cherished!
During our fourth day, we spent some time at Aventura Spa Palace. We stayed at Xpu-Ha Palace, but the wonderful thing about Palace Resorts is that you have the opportunity to enjoy any of the resorts in the area as part of your all-inclusive package.
We arrived at ASP early and immediately enjoyed breakfast and stunning views.
We laid around the pool for a little bit after eating, but we were then ready to have some more fun! We went kayaking in the inlets at ASP, which was a lot of fun...and a pretty good workout!
my flamingo pose, according to one friend...I always have loved pink ;)
After kayaking, we went on a snorkeling tour.
We had a great guide that pointed out lots of ocean creatures. We even got to hold sea urchins and starfish!
Of course, nothing beats holding my love...
After a morning of kayaking and snorkeling, we were ready for some R&R. We lounged by the beach and sipped on daiquiris.
Of course, the occasion called for a few more photos of my new retro-inspired swimsuit...
After lunch, Caleb and I enjoyed a couple's massage at the most beautiful spa facilities I have ever seen. Before our massage, we were invited to enjoy the hydrotherapy rooms, separated for males and females. There were jacuzzis, steam showers, saunas - it reminded me of an old fashioned bath house! It was glorious! Our massages were wonderful, as well. My massage was so relaxing that I literally started to doze off!
After our massages, we headed back to our resort, taking the obligatory stop to watch the monkeys play.

In Caleb-esque style, I took a goofy shot, so I thought it only right that he pose like a fashion blogger. Here are his best attempts...
He's a keeper, I tell ya.
Caleb was feeling a little camera happy and came up with the idea of taking pictures on the steps leading up to our room...
The jungle views really were gorgeous!
Once inside, I was instructed to pose like a pin-up girl. I was more interested in getting in the jacuzzi tub, but here is my best attempt...I think more can be said for Caleb's fashion blogger attempts!
Clean and refreshed, it was time for a siesta. This is the view I had before drifting off...
But the day wasn't over! That night, Caleb and I enjoyed a private lobster dinner on our balcony.
It was a long but beautiful day!

I can't believe you did that all in 1 day! What a fun trip--and love that retro suit! It looks like it was a good mix of relaxation and activities. :)
@Jenni Thanks! It was definitely a jam-packed day...but totally worth it! :)
