I've been donning this boring hairstyle for several days a week lately. I now work at a coffee shop, so I like to pin my bangs back and pull my hair up in a ponytail to keep my hair out of my face. With hair on the shorter side, it's difficult to do anything overly creative when wearing my hair up, so this style is usually what ends up happening. On the bright side, although I'm less than happy with my hair, I love my job. I'll call that a win.
Anyhow, hair still in place, I changed into this outfit after work for an impromptu date night with my love. Caleb was actually planning on going to an event this particular evening, but ended up changing his mind. I got a phone call from him shortly after I got home from work and quickly threw on something that seemed appropriate enough for a classy evening at Olive Garden - we simply can't resist a never-ending pasta bowl. The flowiness of the top camouflaged my after-dinner bloat, so, for that reason alone, I'll call this outfit a success.

@Mommyblogger Thanks! I saw them for super cheap at Ross, and I had to have them! I love the color!
That's a really cute top! I think your jeans and flats go perfectly with it.

@azu Thanks! My dad and I used to go to Olive Garden every time they had their never-ending pasta bowl, so now he sends money for my husband and me to go to carry on the tradition. :)
@Just Daisy Thanks, Daisy! I'm quite pleased with the color combo myself. :)
